Frequently asked questions

Recruvo is the platform for people working the season in Greece: seasonal jobs with a video CV, housing for the season with Find your Home, member deals and perks at partner venues, events and giveaways. The SezonPass is your digital membership card — a QR you show at venues for stamps and member offers.

Signing up is free at recruvo.gr: enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code — no password needed. You can also continue with Google or Apple, then add a Passkey (Face ID / fingerprint) for one-touch sign-in. Businesses create a business account, which is approved automatically when its tax number (ΑΦΜ) is valid and active — otherwise the Recruvo team reviews it.

Open your pass from your profile and show the QR at the counter: for a member deal the staff just need to see it, and for a loyalty stamp card the venue scans it to add your stamp. You can also add the pass to Apple Wallet.

Every like on your posts: +1 Coin. Completing your profile: +250 Coins (one-time). Your first post with a photo or video: +250 Coins (one-time). When a coworker joins through your invite link: +250 Coins for you and +250 for them once they finish setting up their profile — and +500 when you bring a business that gets approved. All your earnings are itemized on the Coins page.

Giveaway entries (each entry costs coins) and the Store, where you redeem perks and receive a redemption code.

The Offers section lists active deals from partner venues by category. Redemption happens in person: show your SezonPass QR at the venue. Offers don't cost coins.

A combo is a bundled deal with an item list (e.g. breakfast + coffee + juice) and an optional member price in euro. Everything a combo includes is listed on the offer page.

Some venues run punch cards: each visit they scan your pass, and when you complete the required stamps you earn the card's reward. Your cards live on the pass page.

The Jobs section is a video-style feed of seasonal listings, with filters for role, employment type, pay and staff accommodation. Every listing names the business up front and links to its profile — you know exactly who you're applying to before you apply.

A short video resume built around 4 questions tailored to your role — you record one short clip per question, as many as you like, and you can re-record or delete each answer individually. Recruiters watch it question by question. It's how you stand out from the endless lists and show what you're worth, with a short introduction straight from your phone's camera. You can also upload a PDF CV.

Yes — completely free. Improve the CV you already have or build a new one with AI by answering a few written questions. Recruvo turns it into a professional PDF you send with every application.

Listings that offer accommodation include a photo gallery of the staff house. It unlocks once you have a Video CV — so you can see where you'd live before you decide.

One tap from the listing. The business is notified and sees your profile and Video CV. You can withdraw your application at any time from the same listing.

Homes and rooms for rent to people working the season. When you list, you choose whether you're renting out an "Entire place" or a "Room" (private, shared or a studio), and the listing goes through the same steps either way. It appears in Homes once the Recruvo team approves it.

With the "HOMES" / "LISTINGS" switch. In the mobile app it sits in the bottom bar; on recruvo.gr it's in the page's top bar and, on a computer, in the side menu as "Listings | Homes". It changes the whole app — the menu, the map and your bookings switch to housing — and the same button takes you back to jobs.

"Stays of 60 days or more only." Greek Law 4446/2016 (article 111) defines a short-term rental as one that lasts less than 60 days, so no stay on Recruvo falls within that definition. The floor is counted in days rather than months because "2 months" can be as short as 59 days when February falls inside them. A landlord can also set their own, longer minimum stay in months.

Directly between you and the landlord — Recruvo processes no payment. Never pay a deposit or rent before you've seen the place in person.

"The location on the map is approximate — the exact address appears once the request is accepted." The landlord has 48 hours to respond (with a reminder), and an unanswered request expires after 7 days. Contact details in the chat stay hidden until the request is accepted.

On the home's page, pick your dates (at least 60 days), set "Guests" to how many people will stay and write the landlord a message. "Send request" opens the chat. The landlord answers with "Accept request" or "Decline request", and you get a notification. You can have one open request per home at a time, and you'll find them all under Bookings, in the "My requests" tab.

Yes. "Cancel booking" withdraws a request or cancels a booking, as long as the stay has not started — the landlord has the same button. From the day the stay begins, the booking can no longer be cancelled in the app.

Because in housing chats, contact details stay hidden until the request is accepted. Phone numbers, emails, links and account names, WhatsApp or Viber included, show up as "hidden"; if you press "Send anyway", the message goes out without them. That keeps the conversation in the app until the landlord accepts — after that, you can swap details as usual.

Yes. One of you sends the request and sets "Guests" to the total number of people staying, up to the limit the landlord set for the home. If you only need a bed, the closest option is a "Shared room", where you share the bedroom with other people.

The usual signs: pressure ("others are waiting"), an advance to "hold" the place before anyone has seen it, an "owner" who is abroad, a push to move to WhatsApp or Viber, and links for "secure payment". Have the place seen in person, by you or someone you trust, and pay only the owner you have verified. If you've already been scammed, call your bank straight away and report it to the Hellenic Police Cybercrime Division on 11188.

Always ask for a written, signed lease. The lease declaration on myAADE is filed by the landlord; the tenant gets a notice on myAADE and accepts or rejects it, and if they do nothing before the deadline passes, it counts as accepted. Once a landlord accepts a request, the booking page reminds them of their myAADE obligations. Recruvo files nothing on your behalf. This is general information, not legal or tax advice; for your own case, ask your accountant or AADE.

That the Recruvo team checked a document about who controls the property — a title deed, an E9 tax extract or a lease — and approved the request. Anyone who already runs an approved business on Recruvo can choose the business-registration option instead of a document, but the team still approves that request too. It's not an inspection of the property and not a deposit guarantee.

You need to be 18 or over and upload at least 5 photos; the listing goes through a review by the Recruvo team and an automatic discrimination filter before it publishes. You can hold up to 10 homes at a time.

The ΑΜΑ belongs to the short-term rental regime. Article 111 of Law 4446/2016 defines a short-term rental as one that lasts less than 60 days, and AADE writes that a lease of 60 days or more is considered long-term and is declared with a lease declaration. For your own situation, ask your accountant.

Because you changed a key detail of a home that was already published: its location, address, postal code, rent, deposit, bills, minimum stay or kind. It then goes back to review automatically, and we'll notify you once it's approved. Photos don't send it back to review, and a new video doesn't take it down; the team simply looks at it.

Yes. Tap "Publish as home" next to the staff house and its photos and description carry over to a new listing. It needs its own street address and goes through the same review as any other home.

Events are created by partner venues or by Recruvo. Each event page shows the location on a map, directions and a join button — some organizers approve join requests.

Each giveaway has an entry cost in coins — the more entries you hold, the better your odds. The draw date is always shown, and the winner is revealed after the draw.

Create a business account with your company details (name, tax number, location). If the tax number (ΑΦΜ) is valid and active in the ΑΑΔΕ registry (or in VIES when ΑΑΔΕ isn't available), the account is approved automatically; otherwise the Recruvo team reviews it. Alternatively, the team can set the business up for you and send you an invite link: you set your own password and take over your account.

From the panel: job listings with video and the applications for each listing, offers and combos with photos, giveaways, events, a gallery and profile details. Applications also have their own tab, CVS. For loyalty stamp cards, tap "Scan a card" on the app's HOME tab, pick the card and scan the member's pass to add a stamp.

Go to Profile → Settings → "Login & security" and add a Passkey on your device. Next time, tap "Sign in with Face ID or fingerprint" — no password needed.

Profile → Settings → "Privacy" controls what's visible on your profile and your consent for anonymous usage analytics. There's no password to forget: on the sign-in page, enter your email and you'll get a fresh one-time code.
